Overview

We are cafe Diwali serving Indian street food and craft beers in the heart of salisbury. All our food is sourced locally and we are using fresh ingredients to create all our dishes. We pride ourself on our way of serving and presenting the food.

Restaurant is near to cathedral and has total of 70 covers inside, we have the added bonus of an enclosed garden seating of 44 covers. Rasheed and Barkath have known each other for nearly 20 years, both chefs who enjoy cooking. We looked over a year to set up our own restaurant and we are delighted with the results. Being able to put our mark and style to a place has given us a real sense of achievement planning & designing, buying and collecting what we want to use in our own place.

The menu is going to change every few months and so far the feed back has been amazing from the food, presentation and the actual restaurant itself. Our style of Indian cooking is different as we not only make all the chutneys and everything ourself including desserts and some of the drinks, we also are doing thali's and Dosa's which are not done in this part of the area. So far customers have even come from just outside London to try us.
